KanBan
The LightSources group maintains KanBan systems for many of our international clients to provide fast, economical flow of materials for their product or warehousing requirements. Once the forecasted requirements are determined, KanBan provides for automatic levels of inventory control without the daily need for analysis or planning.
KanBan services are a huge plus for our partners. Supplies are accessible and administrative barriers are broken down, resulting in short lead times and faster delivery, while allowing for greater flexibility in production (assembling OEM systems).
Finally, the total cost is reduced because the KanBan process prevents over production, develops flexible work stations, and saves resources by streamlining and minimizing inventory and its carrying costs.
